Happy Halloween!

Well, we went all over town on Halloween. First, we went to the outlet mall, then we went to our ward's trunk or treat, then we went to Dave's brothers neighborhood, and then to our own neighborhood, and then we hit one spooky house down the country road. The boys had a blast!

And of course, our jack-o-lantern pizza. We had to double trick or treat this year, because Halloween is on Sunday next year and we won't be participating - bummer!

Our annual trip to Sea World

We begin with how we felt when we left Sea World - SUPER SAD!! We had the best time ever!
Now, you'll see what we did that was so much fun!
They even had a place for Camden to play
The shark exhibit
Watching the dolphins get fed
in front of one of our favorite shows
Dekan insisted on getting soaked by Shamu this time, and boy did they!
More of the Shamu show
They had a great Sesame Street show this year - Chandler loved it and wanted to see it twice!
Dekan was tall enough to ride the Atlantis rollercoaster this time - it became his favorite ride, and if you notice - he is soaked!
Flamingos
The cool penguin exhibit
Chandler was tall enough to ride the Shamu rollercoaster this time - which became his favorite ride
But this one was a close second
Even Camden enjoyed playing in the nets
They had creatures walking all over and people in costumes to get photos with - we had a blast!!

Our All Star!!

Dave and Dekan picked out Dekan's new glasses
Each month every teacher picks one student to be the All-Star, like citizen of the month, and for the first time Dekan got picked! He was thrilled!

Day at the arboretum

We went to the arboretum last Saturday and we had a great time!
Thanks to our friends for the free tickets in.

Don't be surprised if you see these pictures on our Christmas card.

The crawler

Now that Camden can crawl, he keeps getting himself stuck.
He started whining so I went to find him and instead of getting him, I got the camera instead!

He gets stuck in this bucket a lot too.
What's the point of cleaning with a crawler around?

A few of my favorite looks

This is a Chandler invention - the happy mad face.

He breathes like this when he's excited - so cute!

Chandler's Birthday

I can't believe Chandler's birthday was already 3 weeks ago.
With all my school work, I have not been able to update as often.
Chandler LOVED his 4th birthday.

He made this crown at school,
And I got to bring in frosted Chandler cookies,
and he got to have a party with his cousins.
His favorite color is green, so he asked all of us (immediate family only) to wear it on his birthday - it was very fun!

Thank you everyone who helped make his birthday great.

Balloon Festival

We love to go watch the balloons every year
these pictures do not do the sight justice
The boys love to go see them as well.
We just get snacks and sit in the back of the van while we watch.

Pizza Day the Right Way

Another Pizza Day has come and gone -
A reminder that Pizza Day marks the Remembrance of Dave's dad's favorite food
Dave shared some memories with the boys
and we all feasted on the hugest pizza to be found here in Texas!

Yummy! Thanks for loving pizza Grandpa Blacker!

School and Church

Chandler started preschool last week and LOVED it, we are all so excited!
Dekan started a little bit ago as well and seems to be having a bit of trouble distinguishing between church and school. A couple of days he got in the car after school and said he learned all about the prophets. He meant the presidents. Then, in AIM he had an assignment to explain what makes him a good team player and bring something that represents that. After discussing it, he came up with always listening and following directions, so we made a treasure map to represent that. Apparently he changed his mind at the last minute, because he told me that he decided to say, "We should follow God's commandments just like pirates follow a map to treasure."
